The FemtoFiber pro IR is the base version of TOPTICA’s FemtoFiber pro series. It comprises a very robust SAM mode-locked master-oscillator with a core-pumped power amplifier in one single box, having highest output power for fiber lasers on the market. The system benefits from exclusive use of polarization maintaining fiber components and allows optimizing the pulse characteristics to individual needs by a built-in motorized prism compressor.

The FemtoFiber pro IRS is the short-pulse version of TOPTICA’s FemtoFiber pro IR. It comprises a very robust master-oscillator with power amplifier in one single box. With a prism compressor and a special non-linear fiber, shortest pulses at the fundamental wavelength of Er-doped fiber lasers are generated. The system allows optimizing the pulse characteristics manually to individual needs; alternatively the pulse length can be controlled by an automized feedback-loop.

The FemtoFiber pro NIR comprises both fundamental wavelength 1560 nm and the second-harmonic 780 nm from a single box, with highest power and shortest pulses for fiber lasers in the market. The user can switch between both wavelengths without any re-alignment. Furthermore, a built-in motorized prism compressor allows optimizing the pulse characteristics to individual needs either at 1560 or 780 nm. The system is ideally suited for THz researchers, for Biophotonics applications (e.g. SHG imaging) and for two-photon polymerization.

The FemtoFErb laser systems are very robust all fiber-based femtosecond laser systems with excellent amplitude and frequency jitter parameters. Applications benefiting from the most stable, compact and cost-effective FemtoFErb laser solutions are e.g. Terahertz or metrology systems. The FemtoFErb unites laser optics and driving electronics in one box, needing only 12V external power supply and therefore represents an ideal fiber-pigtailed laser source for OEM integrators.

The FemtoFErb 1560 FD5-SM option provides excellent pulse characteristics after several meters output fiber (default 5 meters). This option allows replacing complex beam delivery setups by flexible and convenient optical fiber solutions. The option FD5-SM is available for the FemtoFErb 1560 and can be added up to two times. This double feature provides a dual output laser source with fiber deliveries on each port, ideally suited for time-domain THz applications. Further applications benefiting from the most stable, compact and cost-effective FemtoFErb 1560 with FD5-SM option are e.g. medical applications like endoscopy, metrology systems or optical inspection systems where a flexible beam delivery is required.

Pulsed terahertz generation made easy: fiber-pigtailed InGaAs antennas provide an ideal match for TOPTICA’s turnkey, telecom-band femtosecond lasers. The emitter and detector modules, developed by the Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz Institute (HHI, Berlin/Germany), feature a strip-line or dipole antenna, respectively. Their bandwidth spans more than 4 THz and the modules are packaged with a Silicon lens and SM/PM fiber.

The new TeraFlash system combines TOPTICA’s established FemtoFErb laser and state-of-the-art InGaAs photoconductive switches into a table-top terahertz platform. The TeraFlash achieves a bandwidth of more than 4 THz and – owing to a precise mechanical delay stage – a peak dynamic range of more than 70 dB. The entire system is based on mature 1.5 µm technology and the antenna modules are equipped with SM/PM fiber pigtails.
